Cross-country ski runs totalling 12 km at various difficulty levels run through the Val Martello Valley cross-country skiing paradise in the Stelvio National Park. Due to its altitude at above 1,700 m, the Val Martello Valley cross-country and biathlon centre offers ideal winter cross-country skiing in this Alpine region. From the beginning of November until the end of March, nordic winter sports enthusiasts have free run of the varied trails with elevation differences of up to 260 m. The biathlon centre also has a modern shooting range with 30 fully automated shooting ranges.
Located in the middle of the Stilfserjoch National Park, this cross-country paradise offers numerous opportunities for cross-country skiers and biathletes. Thanks to their varied and versatile route options, these trails are suited both to classic cross-country skiing and skating, for beginners as well as experienced cross-country skiers.
The roller tracks in Schlinig/Slingia Schlinig and Val Martello Valley offer the unique opportunity for cross-country summer training in South Tyrol, and in the Val Martello Valley there is also the possibility of practising summer biathlon.
